As a mum of two little ones I know how important it is to be fit and healthy to keep up with them, but also understand how difficult it can be to find the opportunity to exercise when you have a family to look after. 

That's why I came up with the idea of Mum Plus One so you can brng your baby along to class or get fit via virtual training in your own time!

 

I'm a qualified fitness instructor and exercise to music instructor and have now undergone specialist training to teach pre and postnatal exercise in order to run these exciting sessions.  In addition to this I am certified in the use of Battle Ropes to enhance my classes with an innovative, total body workout, which wakes up muscles you never knew you had!

 

runs fitness sessions designed especially for ladies, whether you're pregnant, recently had a baby or had a baby a few years ago and would like to get back into shape.

 

We also offer virtual fitness training so mums who live anywhere in the UK can work out safely at home with the support of a qualified instructor.

 

 

We feel it is important for mums to stay fit during and after pregnancy in order to manage the physiological changes their bodies go through.

 

We also understand that some mums might be worried about exercising whilst carrying such a precious cargo so all of our sessions are led by a fully qualified instructor who specialises in pre and postnatal exercise.

 

Our aim is to provide safe but fun workouts to help you improve your core strength and cardiovascular fitness, which in turn will help you with your pregnancy and motherhood once baby arrives!

 

Research has shown that exercising during pregnancy can help alleviate some of the common side-effects of pregnancy such as fatigue, back problems and poor postural alignment.  Strengthening your core muscles can also assist with delivery and speed up your return to pre-pregnancy state.

 

We run combined pregnancy, postnatal and mummy fitness classes in the Tiptoe/Sway area so, if you live nearby, come and give it a go.

 

If you can't get to our classes, please do ask about our virtual training option.  If you live in the UK then you can take part in this scheme.
