Want help with losing weight for the summer? You can help yourself by just being a little more active each day.
Instead of just sitting and watching tv why not try marching on the spot, lunges, squats, arm dips on the edge of the sofa, knee raises, pulling your tummy in, holding a good posture, bicep curls, triceps kicks, calf raises, plank, press ups, tummy crunches.... there are so many exercises you can do in a relatively small space whilst still watching tv!
Even if you only do some of this through the ad breaks it could be about 20 mins of exercise during a 1 hour show. It soon adds up!
You could also walk a little further than normal every day. Every time you need to go upstairs, go up and down them twice.
Think about maintaining a good posture throughout day. Shoulders back and tummy in. This will make you look good and burn more calories as you engage more muscles.
Remember to do your daily pelvic floor exercises too.
Make sure you drink about 8 glasses of water a day to help flush your system through and stay hydrated, especially if you're going to be more active.
