Recently I've been diving deeper into the sea of mummy bloggers out there and I've been amazed by the quality of what I've found. Who knew mums were so talented? Blogs have taken off in a big way over the last few years and now you can find a mummy blogger for any point of view or topic you care to read about.
It's fantastic to be able to have such a huge variety to choose from, the trouble is finding them and sorting the wheat from the chaff. It takes a lot of time and that's actually the one thing mums are always short of.
That got me thinking and eventually I decided it could be useful to set up an e-magazine that would showcase some of the amazing bloggers I have been finding. The aim is really simple: include blogs, articles, poems, photos, stories, recipes, crafts, activities and anything else that mums like to write about and publish them all in one place for other mums to find! It's an e-magazine written by mums, for mums.
After a little research and checking that there were mums interested in the the idea I set up The Mum E-mag. The web page hosts 'cards' which link to great mummy blogs and is updated on a regular basis. There is also a quarterly e-magazine publication which is sent out directly to subscribers as well as having the link posted on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We also have our own Facebook page for mums to post on and share their blog findings.
This is a totally free service for mums to subscribe to as the point is to make it easily accessible. The only fees I charge are nominal for promotional content in order to cover my running costs. (I must be mad!!)
If you're a mummy blogger, or know of any brilliant ones, please do get in touch. I'd love to feature a wide variety of content and topics on the web page as well as in the quarterly e-magazine publication.
If not, sign up at www.mumplusone.net/themumemag to receive your FREE copy of the quarterly e-mag anyway!
Come on in and join our mummy community. The water is lovely and warm....
